Our Lady's Inn is an emergency shelter for pregnant women in crisis, helping them to choose life for their unborn child. Founded on January 22, 1982, Our Lady's Inn provides pregnant women and their children shelter and hope for a new life through humble acts of love.
Development Chair Announces 25th Anniversary Our Lady's Inn Capital CampaignTransforming Their Lives... Thank You! Anthony L. Guerrerio, Chairman Development Committee Our Lady's Inn Our Lady's Inn-St. Louis opened January 22, 1982 and Our Lady's Inn-St. Charles opened April 1, 2006. Since 1982, Our Lady's Inn has provided emergency shelter, counseling and care to nearly 4,000 homeless, pregnant women and their children. The need continues to grow and Our Lady's Inn wants to be ready to meet the challenge. In recognition of the 25th anniversary of Our Lady's Inn, we are announcing the 25th Anniversary Capital Campaign for Our Lady's Inn with a goal of raising $2.5 million. Generous givers have already committed more than $140,000 to this effort. The previous Capital Campaign of 2002 successfully raised the money to cover the down payment for the Our Lady's Inn-St. Charles home, to meet the challenge of a growing need in that geographic location. We still owe $1,000,000 on the Our Lady's Inn-St. Charles property, and the new Capital Campaign drive will help toward the elimination of that debt. The 2002 Capital Campaign also enabled us to initiate and purchase transitional housing for Our Lady's Inn. Missouri Maternity Home State Tax Credits may be available to individuals and businesses making financial donations of $100 or more. A woman may come to Our Lady's Inn at any time during her pregnancy and stay until after the birth of the baby. Upon entering the program, she must commit to an individualized self-sufficiency plan which she and a caring staff member develop together. The woman comes to Our Lady's Inn stressed and brokenhearted…we offer her a healthy and hopeful tomorrow through caring services, including::
